Abstract

Statistics is a good friend for every discipline where there is a research component. I found it very helpful in researching my teaching and assessment in medical school. In this talk, I will present my recent statistical applications in research and evaluation in medicine.

Biography

Dr. Mohammed Moinuddin is a medical statistician by passion, by education, and by profession. He obtained his PhD degree in statistical sciences at the University of Padova in Italy in 2020. Prior to this completed his BSc (honors) and MS in statistics from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He loves to research statistical methodology and apply them in the field of health, biology, and environmental problems. He enjoys programming in R and STATA. 

Dr. Moinuddin is an active researcher in the fields of Non-communicable diseases, multimorbidity, mental wellbeing & physical activity, Musculoskeletal injuries, Maternal & Newborn health.
